Technical Foundation (July 2019)
To address the pain points of professional photographers – carrying heavy loads and stabilizing super-telephoto lenses – HEIPI introduced the revolutionary "2D/3D Convertible Ball Joint" technology (applied in the K2 series). Its core "Dynamic Balance Force" design allows heavy equipment to hover, providing stable, continuous support for tracking moving subjects while also meeting landscape photography needs. This breakthrough achieved a balance between portability and functionality. The technology has since earned a Chinese invention patent, passed international PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) search and received patent grants in Japan and Europe.
Structural Innovation (October 2022)
Focusing on the need for lightweight yet stable travel tripods, HEIPI went through three internal generations of development from 2019 to 2022. In October 2022, we launched the game-changing "3-Pillar Center Column" structure with the 3-in-1 travel tripod W28 on Kickstarter. Within a month, it gained support from over 3,000 backers globally, raising over $1 million USD and ranking 27th globally in Kickstarter's 2022 Design & Technology category. The innovative design earned widespread recognition from photographers worldwide, proving its excellence in balancing portability and stability.
Classic Upgrade (October 2024)
In October 2024, HEIPI launched the new-generation W Series product, the HEIPI W28S. It retains the advantages of the signature "3-Pillar Center Column" structure while refining details and enhancing performance.
