13lbs Max Counterbalance
What is counterbalance force?
When the camera is tilted to any angle, the head delivers a precisely matched counterbalance force that fully offsets the camera's downward gravity, allowing the camera to remain stationary at any tilt angle.
When shooting with telephoto or super-telephoto lenses, photographers often face challenges such as heavy lens weight, long moment arm, and an extremely narrow field of view, making it difficult to track moving subjects.

Note on maximum counterbalance capacity
Maximum counterbalance capacity is not the head's structural load limit. It refers to the maximum weight for which the head can provide sufficient counterbalance force to keep the equipment stationary at any tilt angle. Exceeding the counterbalance capacity may lead to overloading, premature wear, or damage to the internal support structure components.
